I am a Researcher at the FEEM and an Adjunct Professor at University of Milan. I work within the Labour in the Low-carbon Transition unit directed by Prof. Francesco Vona. I obtained a PhD in Economics at the Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Prof. Nicola Mastrorocco.
My research focuses on three main areas: (i) how organised crime and institutional shocks affect human and civic capital; (ii) how political competition, identity-based rhetoric and electoral incentives shape economic behaviour and participation; and (iii) how the green transition restructures labour demand, skills, wages and regional development. Beyond economics, I like basketball, football, playing ukulele, videogames and drawing.
This is my CV, while this is a detailed outline of my current research projects, and this is a list of the courses I taught.
